Kayla Drescher, from Chicago, has performed all over the world and for clients like Microsoft, IBM, and Wells Fargo. You may have seen her in the world touring show Champions of Magic or on your TV on shows like Penn & Teller’s Fool Us, Access Hollywood, or NBC’s Today Show where she was crowned “the Next Great Magician” by David Copperfield. You can currently catch her performing regularly at the Chicago Magic Lounge.

Eric Bedard, aka The Cool Magic Dude, is known as the Magician toThe Stars.
After Headlining on Princess Cruise Lines for a decade, Eric has spent the last 25 years performing at Hollywood Celebrity events and Red Carpet Galas for many of the top celebrities in the world today.
BJ Mallen is not a normal person; you will learn that quickly as he relates tales of growing up in Colon, Michigan, The Magic Capital of the World. BJ’s hilarious blend of comedy, magic, and sideshow always entertain! BJ’s razor sharp wit and observations create a unique performance every time!
Dreygon at a mere 20 years old, is the youngest close-up magician at The Magic Soiree. But don’t let his youth fool you because he certainly will! Having just come second in the biggest magic competition in the USA, his talent and wit are the envy of the “older” magicians at The Magic Soiree. Instead of boasting about him we’d rather let his magic, and cheeky grin, speak for him.
Joshua Wilde has performed magic, juggling, comedy, and fire-eating at every conceivable venue (and even some inconceivable venues). He also owns the Wunderground Magic Shop…one of the last remaining brick & mortar magic shops in the USA. Joshua’s talents have taken him around the world from Istanbul to Constantinople, and he’s very happy to share in the magic and laughter at The Magic Soiree.
Fred Lenter, has the experience to do it all! Whether it is stand-up comedy magic or, strolling close-up illusions, Fred brings people together through magic! Interactive magic with lots of audience participation, including expert sleight of hand and amazing close-up illusions that happen right in YOUR hands! People can’t stop asking, “How does Fred do it?”
Andy Makar insists magic is the one art that continues to amaze, entertain and challenge the impossible. When I was 7, my dad got me started with the Art of Magic with a shoebox full of magic tricks. Fast forward 30+ years later, I’ve built a career entertaining families with this Art of Astonishment! I look forward to sharing some “magic fun” and wonder with you!
Ferran is an acknowledged master of coin magic, having just come first in the largest magic competition in the USA! He brings an energetic, cheery style to fast-paced magical performances. From company picnics and birthday parties to talent shows and church events, his magic has been featured at a variety of venues. A member of the Detroit Magic Club, Ferran has been performing for nearly 15 years and specializes in close-up sleight-of-hand. Audiences never fail to walk away with smiles and surprises.”
Dan Sperling aka Dapper Dan is instantly recognizable by his tuxedo and bow-tie when performing magic. He began performing magic at the age of 12 years old, until “real life” got in the way and magic was sidelined in favor of family and a career in IT. Dan reignited his passion for the “magical arts” 5 years ago and has been actively performing ever since.
Jonathon LaChance, half-magician, half-comedian has made a career out of simultaneously blowing minds and splitting sides at theaters and comedy clubs across the country with his touring magic show: Laugh Magic LIVE! ® It is no surprise that Jonathon was voted “BEST magician of his family” (3 years running…). One of Gordon’s most memorable moments came when his magic was requested at a private performance for former world heavyweight boxing champion Muhammad Ali.
Matthew David Stanley, combines Stand-Up Comedy with Mind Blowing Magic for a result that can only be described as Entertaining.
He is the proud recipient of the prestigious “Lance Burton Award” presented in Las Vegas, NV as well as the “International Brotherhood of Magicians Stage Magician of the Year.” He has been featured on NBC and FOX, he has performed at private events for Comedian Dave Chapelle and opened for such names as Master Illusionist David Copperfield, Country Music Star Mark Wills, Funny Man Gary Owen, and Tom Wilson a.k.a. “Biff” from the Back to the Future Trilogy.
John Sturk is an award-winning comedy magician from Chicago, IL. A co-founder of the Chicago Magic Lounge, John has been seen on Fox, ABC, NBC, and the Travel Channel, and is a favorite all over the Midwest.
In addition to magic, John is also a talented musician, working as an improv music director for many of the Chicago theaters, and recently joining the faculty of the famed Second City Training Center.
John is currently serving as the 107th National President of the Society of American Magicians.

Erik Tait has won awards for both standup comedy and magic throughout North America, appeared on Penn & Teller: Fool Us and was the 2018 International Brotherhood of Magicians Gold Cups Close Up Competition Champion. He took home 3rd place at FISM Quebec 2022, the world championships of magic, in the category of card magic. Erik is only the fourth American to accomplish this, and the first American to stand on the podium for card magic in two decades
Hugh Irwin was born and raised in the shadows of the Scottish highlands, he now lives in South Lyon Michigan where he keeps the rich culture of his Celtic background alive in magical and amazing performances. Hugh may be the only Scottish Magician in Michigan who performs magic on a weekly basis while wearing a kilt! You can also see him performing at Celtic festivals around the state, look for a man in a kilt doing amazing things.
Lucy Darling, is a rapidly rising star in the world of magic and was recently nominated by The Magic Castle in Hollywood for ‘Magician of the Year’. As fans of Penn and Teller will know, she was on Fool Us a couple of weeks ago. She presents a unique blend of classy, sassy entertainment. This is going to be an evening that you do not want to miss.

Jasen Magic – has been seen on t.v. by millions in over 40 countries. He’s appeared in a Subway sandwich commercial. Featured on the History Channel, the Discovery Channel, MSNBC and A&E. Has been requested to perform for Tiger Woods, Mario Andretti, Robin Leach, George Strait and recently performed for The Rolling Stones. Made the Fox2 helicopter appear out of “thin air”. Paige Thompson – In an art form dominated by men, Paige Thompson emerges as one of the few world-class female magicians. Her performances have taken her from the stages of New York, Chicago, Nashville and Hollywood to Branson, Las Vegas and beyond. Her international television credits include the highly acclaimed America’s Got Talent and Germany’s Das Supertalent working alongside some of the top illusionists in the game. Paige was most recently a featured contestant on FOX’s Showtime at the Apollo, hosted by Steve Harvey. Her vast skill set in the art of illusion has brought her to the forefront of the industry where she is giving the boys a run for their money
Luis Carreon In addition to being a founding ensemble member of the Chicago Magic Lounge, he is also a frequent performer at The World Famous Magic Castle in Hollywood, California. Luis also travels the country teaching other magicians about the art of magic and is the head demonstrator at Magic Inc, the oldest family-owned magic shop in the country
George Tait, Detroit native has been seen with two of the largest touring magic shows to date, Masters of Illusion Live, and behind the scenes on The Illusionists. His performance is a mixture of conjuring techniques with a dash of subtle psychology. Does he know what you’re thinking? Probably not, but you’ll believe that he does
Cameron Zvara will kick off our show with a playful and interactive performance. Using a blend of mind-blowing magic and sarcastic comedy, Cameron will have you scratching your head all while laughing at the same time!
Arthur Ottney has been part of the Detroit magic community and The Wunderground Magic Shop since a youngster and created and produced many original tricks. He’s performed in the US, Europe, and Japan. He has also designed and taught the only accredited Magic course at Carnegie-Mellon University. Ottney is a lifelong magician. Jeff Nalazek enjoys the intimate setting and personal connections with human life forms when performing close up magic. He works full-time as an engineer, part-time performing close up magic, and spends the remainder of his time over-analyzing everything (including whether or not over-analyzing should have a hyphen) Prepare to be amazed.
Ken Dumm is a performer you have to keep a close eye on. He has been performing comedy magic for over 30 years. Ken can connect with all kinds audiences. From theaters and comedy clubs to festivals and fairs, Ken has left audiences laughing throughout the Midwest. As a featured performer at the Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle, Ken has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in comedy. His anecdotes from his childhood combine with the magic he loves to create moments you won’t soon forget. Ken’s show combines comedy, magic, music, and audience participation to keep crowds wanting more.
Austin Dumm, although only in his twenties, Austin has been performing magic for over 15 years. He has performed at festivals, headlined the Lapeer Pix Theater, and performed at Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle. Whether performing close up or on the stage, Austin will leave you thoroughly entertained.
John Kohl – ‘Magic is my passion. I started performing when I was 5 years old, and I haven’t looked back. Magic brings people together, sparks creativity, and expands the imagination… and as the Magician, I have the best seat in the house. Words can not describe the joy I receive from the faces of excitement and wonder on children at a show, or when a grown adult has their mind blown. There is wonder in this world. My goal is to make every event I am invited to an experience that will last a lifetime.’

Chris Linn is a comedy entertainer who is literally amazing! On stage, he seamlessly blends his signature clean comedy with visual illusions, special effects and incredible stunts to create performances that are equal parts “LOL” and “OMG”. This exciting fusion of comedy and trickery has earned this Michigan native the title of “America’s Magical Funnyman”.
Chris is the first American act to be voted the “Audience Favorite” in Peoples’ Choice Voting at the original Hong Kong Comedy Festival. His is also the recipient of the prestigious Spotlight Award for “Entertainer of the Year – Solo Act” from Event Solutions.
Lady Sarah and Keith Fields when they are not at The Magic Soiree, they can be seen touring the USA (and the world) with their amazing theater show ‘A Brit Of Magic‘.
